DayProof is a record-keeping tool. It is not tax advice, legal advice, or immigration advice, and no number it shows you is a determination of your residency. Residency depends on facts this app cannot see — where your home is, where your family lives, where your business is run from — and several of the rules it counts against can be decided against you even when you are under the day threshold. Check anything that matters with a qualified professional in the jurisdiction concerned.
The agreement
By downloading or using DayProof you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. DayProof is published by Wuyu Apps and distributed through Apple's App Store, and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your copy.
What the app does, and what it does not
- DayProof counts days you have recorded against published residency rules, and produces a day-by-day report of that record.
- The rules are transcribed from primary sources — statutes and revenue authority publications — with a citation and a check date beside each one, and a place that has not been read carries no number rather than a plausible guess. They can still be out of date, and they are not a substitute for reading the law that applies to you.
- The report discloses its own gaps: days in the period with no record are listed, not omitted. It is a record of what you entered, not evidence of where you were.
- You are responsible for what you record and for anything you file.
DayProof Pro
The app is free to use for one jurisdiction with manual records. DayProof Pro unlocks multiple jurisdictions, automatic tracking, immigration and Canadian modes, audit export, and the widget.

Prices are shown in your own currency in the app and vary by country; the figures above are the United States prices.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period runs to its end.
- The lifetime purchase is a single payment and does not renew.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms, not by us.
If a subscription lapses, your records stay on your device and remain yours. The Pro features stop; nothing you recorded is taken away or deleted.
Your data
Everything you record stays on your device. There is no account and no server holding your information. See the privacy policy for the detail.
No warranty, and the limit of our liability
DayProof is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the rules it carries are complete, current, or correct for your situation, or that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of DayProof is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer law in your own country that cannot be limited by agreement.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and a substantive change will be described in the App Store release notes.
